Vantage Clinical Trials was co-founded in 2018 by Carlos Bussey and Alexandra Rowden, who have both worked in clinical research since 2006. After years of managing site operations and patient recruitment firsthand, they launched Vantage to provide a more efficient and patient-centered research experience. The need to streamline participant enrollment led to the creation of Accelerate Recruitment Services, a companion technology company that powers Vantage’s recruitment through the TruView Platform.

Carlos Bussey — Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder
Carlos co-founded Vantage Clinical Trials in 2018 after more than a decade in site management and clinical operations. Drawing on experience since 2006, he recognized the inefficiencies in traditional recruitment and led the creation of Accelerate Recruitment Services to support sites through advanced automation and data-driven engagement. Carlos now oversees strategic growth, sponsor partnerships, and the integration of technology across the network.
Alexandra Rowden — Chief Operating Officer & Co-Founder
Alexandra brings nearly two decades of experience in clinical research site operations, patient coordination, and regulatory management. As Co-Founder and COO of Vantage Clinical Trials, she directs day-to-day operations and ensures GCP compliance and quality across all locations. Seeing firsthand how recruitment delays impacted trials, she helped co-found Accelerate Recruitment Services, focusing on patient engagement and operational efficiency through the TruView platform.
